Pari Beauty Salon – Terms and Conditions

By booking an appointment, purchasing a service, or visiting Pari Beauty Salon, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before engaging our services.


1. General

These Terms govern all services provided by Pari Beauty Salon (“we,” “our,” or “us”) to any client (“you,” “your”).

Our salon operates in accordance with New Zealand consumer and privacy laws, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986, and Privacy Act 2020.


2. Appointments

  1. All services are subject to availability.

  2. Bookings can be made in person, by phone, or online.

  3. Please arrive at least 5–10 minutes early to prepare for your appointment.

  4. We may reschedule or cancel appointments due to staff illness, emergencies, or other unforeseen events. In such cases, you will be notified promptly.


3. Cancellations & No-Shows

  1. 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

  2. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a 50% service charge.

  3. “No-show” appointments may be charged 100% of the booking fee.

  4. Prepaid sessions or gift vouchers missed without notice are non-refundable.


4. Payments

  1. All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include GST unless stated otherwise.

  2. Payment is due immediately after your service.

  3. Accepted payment methods: cash, EFTPOS, and major credit/debit cards.

  4. Prices and offers may change without prior notice; confirmed bookings will be honoured at the rate booked.

  5. Promotions, discounts, or vouchers cannot be combined unless specified.


5. Gift Vouchers & Packages

  1. Gift vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  2. Must be presented at the time of service and used before the expiry date shown.

  3. Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.

  4. Prepaid packages must be used within 12 months of purchase.


6. Client Responsibility & Health Disclosure

  1. Please inform your therapist of any medical conditions, skin sensitivities, allergies, or medications before your service.

  2. We may adjust or refuse a service if deemed unsafe or unsuitable.

  3. Clients under 18 require parental or guardian consent for certain treatments.


7. Professional Conduct & Hygiene

  1. We maintain strict hygiene in accordance with New Zealand health and safety regulations.

  2. All tools are sanitized after each client; disposable items are used where necessary.

  3. Disrespectful or abusive behaviour toward staff or other clients will not be tolerated.


8. Refund & Service Policy

  1. We aim for your complete satisfaction.

  2. Results can vary depending on skin type, hair growth, or aftercare compliance.

  3. Please report any concerns within 24 hours of your appointment.

  4. Refunds or re-services are offered only if required under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

  5. No refunds will be issued for change of mind once a service is completed.


9. Liability

  1. While every precaution is taken, Pari Beauty Salon is not liable for allergic reactions, injury, or loss where proper care and procedures have been followed.

  2. Clients must follow pre- and post-treatment advice provided by our professionals.

  3. We are not responsible for personal belongings lost or damaged on the premises.


10. Privacy Policy

  1. All personal data is collected, stored, and used in compliance with the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ).

  2. Your details are used only for bookings, communication, and service delivery.

  3. We never sell or disclose your information to third parties without consent, except as required by law.


11. Promotions & Media Use

  1. Promotional offers are subject to individual terms and can be changed or withdrawn at any time.

  2. With your consent, photographs or videos taken in the salon may be used for promotional or educational purposes.


12. Amendments

Pari Beauty Salon reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updates will take effect once published on our website.


13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be handled by the New Zealand courts.


Acceptance

By booking an appointment, purchasing a service, or entering our premises, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
